Mohamadou DANDJOUMA offres des dons aux élèves lauréats de Souari

Les élèves lauréats au Baccalauréat, Probatoire et au BEPC 2019-2020 du quartier Souari, ont reçu ce 17 octobre 2020 des dons en nature d’une valeur de près de 3 millions de nos francs du bienfaiteur Mohamadou DANDJOUMA. C’est la continuité d’une œuvre de bienfaisance débutée en 2007. Par Telesphore MBONDO AWONO

C’est une traditionnelle cérémonie qui a démarrée en 2007 au quartier Souari. Mohamadou DANDJOUMA, actuel 3e adjoint au Maire à Garoua 1er et natif de ce quartier avait été motivé par la misère ambiante des parents et, avait décidé de faire quelque chose pour aider ces nombreux enfants aux familles démunies afin de les encourager à poursuivre leurs études pour en faire des hommes et femmes du Cameroun de demain. Si en 2007, on comptait seulement une dizaine voire quinzaine d’élèves, aujourd’hui le nombre d’élèves dépasse très régulièrement la centaine. Ils viennent des trois composantes du quartier Souari que sont : Souari Manou, Souari Dépôt et Souari Padama. Pour l’année 2019-2020, ils sont au nombre 74 dont 28 bacheliers toute filière confondues, 28 pour le Brevet d’Etudes primaires et secondaire et 17 pour le Probatoire. Les bacheliers ont reçu chacun une somme de 50 000 francs CFA (cinquante mille francs). Les lauréats aux examens Probatoire et BEPC ont bénéficié quant eux des livres, cahiers et crayons.

Pour le promoteur, ce qui compte c’est l’avenir des enfants de Souari. Et de poursuivre que les meilleurs élèves de Souari bénéficieront de son soutien tant que Dieu continuera à lui donner son souffle.

La cérémonie de ce 17 octobre 2020 était présidée par le sous-préfet de Garoua 1er OUSMAILOU ADAMA, avec à ses côtés le Maire de la ville, les autorités traditionnelles et religieuses, le représentant de la SCDP, les parents d’élèves et d’autres invités. Ce dernier a salué le geste du promoteur tout en appelant d’autres élites de l’arrondissement de Garoua 1er à se joindre à l’actuel 3e adjoint au Maire dans le but de « fabriquer » les hommes de demain. « Un seul enfant que nous aidons, c’est un citoyen que nous mettons à la disposition de la république. Des cérémonies comme celles-ci sont rares. Il faut les multiplier. J’appelle d’autres élites à se joindre à monsieur DANDJOUMA », a-t-il souligné. Aux élèves, il leur a demandé de travailler ardemment pour continuer à bénéficier de l’aide du 3e adjoint au Maire. Aux parents, il leur demande d’accompagner leurs enfants dans les études afin de faciliter la tâche aux enseignants.

Les bénéficiaires du jour n’ont pas caché leur satisfaction à l’endroit du promoteur. Pour MOUSSA ADAMA Ousmanou, lauréat au baccalauréat A4 Arabe, le remerciement adressé à monsieur DANDJOUMA n’a pas de limite. « Nous prions Allah qu’il lui donne au centuple pour que d’autres élèves continuent de bénéficier de cette importante dotation », a indiqué le jeune futur étudiant. Il faut rappeler qu’en plus des prix d’excellences scolaires, Mohamadou DANDJOUMA choisit chaque année 2 étudiants pour une prise en charge totale au superieur. Par ailleurs, de nombreuses associations de femmes qui œuvrent pour la promotion de l’éducation de la jeune fille, les personnes vulnérables telles que les handicapés,bénéficient chaque année de la générosité légendaire de l’actuel 3e adjoint au Maire de Garoua 1er.
