MAHOUNDE TOBI a été célébré avec faste et solennité ce lundi 6 mars 2023 par ses frères et sœurs Fali et bien d’autres communautés sœurs de la ville de Garoua.

Ils étaient des milliers à l’aéroport international de Garoua à chanter, à danser sur les motos, les véhicules pour accueillir le ministre de la Santé publique MANAOUDA MALACHIE mais surtout pour célébrer le nouveau Président du Conseil d’Administration de l’Hôpital Général de Garoua, fils de la Bénoué, nommé par un décret du Président de la république Paul Biya le 22 février 2023.

Ils étaient tous là, les groupements Fali de la région du Nord : Kangou, Peskebori, Ndoudja… Ils sont venus de Bascheo, Pitoa, Gaschiga, Dembo, Mayo-Oulo et Guider féliciter leur frère MAHOUNDE TOBI mais surtout dire merci par une motion de soutien au Président de la République Paul Biya. L’heureux élu n’a pas eu de réserve pour remercier le Bon Dieu et son oint le Président Biya.

« Je voudrais remercier ici le Dieu Tout puissant qui a inspiré le Président de la république à me nommer au prestigieux poste de Président du Conseil d’Administration de l’Hôpital Général de Garoua. Il va de soi que le sentiment qui m’anime en ce moment est celui de joie lorsqu’on voit ces milliers de visages malgré la canicule. Je mesure la peine que les uns et les autres ont dû prendre partant des villages lointains pour être ici », a déclaré à la presse l’actuel DAG du ministère et des Petites et Moyennes entreprises.

Devant ses nombreux frères ce Fils Fali a pris l’engagement solennel de ne pas trahir surtout de ne pas décevoir le président Biya. « Je ferais ce que l’administration me demande de faire ce sans bavure avec le Directeur général et son adjoint, les médecins, le personnel et les administrateurs afin d’apporter des soins de haute facture aux patients. Nous allons donner le meilleur de nous même pour satisfaire tous ceux qui viendront dans notre hôpital », a affirmé le nouveau PCA qui sera installé dans ses nouvelles fonctions ce mardi 7 mars 2023 par le ministre de la Santé Publique MANAOUDA MALACHIE.

La nomination de MAHOUNDE TOBI été un prétexte pour la communauté Fali du Nord à réitérer son engagement aux côtés du Chef de l’Etat Camerounais. « C’est un renouvellement de notre engagement. Le peuple Fali a toujours été attentif, fidèle, dévoué. Il a toujours été fidèle aux institutions de la république et tient à y demeurer. Je suis fier de mon peuple », a dit MAHOUNDE TOBI.

Dans une motion de soutien à lui adressée, les chefs traditionnels Fali, les élites et élus Fali, les filles et fils Fali, réunis à Garoua suite à la nomination de leur fils au prestigieux poste de Président du Conseil d’administration de l’Hôpital général de Garoua ont réitéré leur soutien total et inconditionnel dans l’accomplissement de l’exaltante et noble mission qu’a le Chef de l’Etat à la tête du Cameroun. Ils ont rassuré ce dernier (Chef de l’Etat)  de l’accompagner sans réserve dans sa lutte contre la criminalité urbaine et rurale : « Nous vous accompagnons sans réserve dans la poursuite de la construction et de l’édification d’un Cameroun émergent paisible, et aux aspirations légitime du peuple camerounais », a-t-il indiqué.

MAHOUNDE TOBI est le tout premier fils Fali à occuper un poste de Président du Conseil d’Administration dans un établissement public. En rappel, les Fali et les Bata sont les premiers occupants de Garoua ville et de Garoua rural dans le Nord du Cameroun. Mais on les retrouve aussi au Nigeria et au Tchad. Ils ont souvent été marginalisés dans les nominations sans doute à cause des miasmes et des scories de leur passé historique avec les Peuls. A la différence des Bata qui sont pour la plupart des pécheurs, le peuple Fali pratique plus l’agriculture.
